Our family had a wonderful weekend. It started with Brad's parents and his sister, Karen, visiting for a couple of days and we celebrated Brad's mom's birthday with a yummy ice cream cake! They were generous and babysat the kids Friday night so that Brad and I could celebrate our 15th wedding anniversay at the Melting Pot. It was so nice to take our time and eat a good meal -- plus, someone generous and anonymous left us a very nice surprise (thank you if it was anyone reading this)!
On Saturday both kids had soccer games and Tagg's team is quite funny! Lots of kids crying and even some tackling each other. Thankfully, Tagg was very good and focused on soccer! Abby's team didn't win, but Abby continues to play hard. Brad and I finished the weekend by giong to the Rockies' game on Sunday and the Rockies won in a dramatic finish!
Also, on Friday Abby came home from school with the C.H.I.P. award which is given out by her teacher. Only one student gets it a week and it stands for Caring, Helpful, Independent, and Polite Person. Abby is loving third grade!
